Should I?
Posted on June 11, 2009

I just got back from the Apple Store and DAMN the new 13″ MacBook Pro looks amazingly stunning(as if there’s any difference from the alum MacBook LOL) ! It now has pretty much everything I need (SD card slot and firewire). I desperately want one though I’ve already got a 20″ iMac and a 12″ PowerBook (which I’m selling it on ebay right now!)
What should I do? Should I sell my 20″ iMac (I use it all the time + time machine backups) for it?
Here are specs of my Aluminum iMac:
2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
4GB RAM memory
320 HDD
Should I sell it for a less specs but definitely more SEXIER MacBook Pro? and how much do you think I can sell it for?
I need advices from you guys! god, so attempting!

If you really want power and portability, and if you want something that you would want to sell your iMac for, get the 15″ MacBook Pro

I would definately get the MacBook Pro – a notebook just offers so much more possibilities in my opinion. The best: You can take it with you whereever you go
Plus it’s way sexier than the iMac! Hope that helpes…

I just bought the 13 inch MacBook Pro! It is great. I had the Aluminum MacBook but sold it so I could go Pro. The backlit keyboard is really nice and it is slightly faster than the aluminum MacBook. Also, if you are a student, you can get it for only $1,099. I used my student discount and upgraded the ram to 4 GB’s and the hard drive to 250 GB’s. It is a great computer!!

The question is what you gonna do with your PRO..??
You can buy a external drive and move all your stuff to the PRO…

I like the mobility in a laptop but yeah, I feel -just a feeling- that you’d be happier with iMac because it’s bigger. On my 13.3 laptop it’s not very comfortable for two people to watch a video or something. It’s a little cramped for screen space.
